Here we are focusing on every day skills.

Practical life at Treasure. Picture showing children with a teacher playing with practical life items such as a plastic bottle, a tray, egg cup and so on

Children are familiar with some activities in practical life through their daily routine at home. The aim here is to help refine what they know how to do. Through practical life activities children are not only preparing themselves for later intellectual work but also developing their emotional and social skills. Through these activities children expand their knowledge of their environment and increase their physical skills.  This helps them to appreciate their role as part of a group. Their independence and sense of internal motivation will sustain their desire to explore and wonder.
